Moscow Skyscrapers !Full russian version and more picture!
In 1947 by the Soviet government the decision about construction of eight skyscrapers (Vysotki) and Palace Soviets was accepted.
Seven of eight were constructed.It:
1 - Building of the Moscow state university2 - Hotel "Ukraine"
3 - Inhabited building on Kudrinskaya Square (The square was called Vostaniya (Uprising Square) until 1991 )
4 - Building of the ministry of foreign affairs
5 - Palace Soviets (Not constructed)
6 - Administrative building Zaryadye (Not constructed)
7 - Hotel "Leningradskaya"
8 - Administrative - inhabited building on Red Gate Square (The square was called Lermontovskaya until 1991 )
9 - Inhabited building on Kotelnicheskaya Naberezhnaya (Embankment)
These buildings were constructed in classical, so-called Stalins style.
